The expansion and renovation of the existing Edsall Road Fire Station. Reconfigurations of some interior spaces and major renovations to the existing structure.
Thomas Jefferson Middle School Renovation and Repair
Location: Arlington, VA
A renovation of the existing school that required a creative design to repair and waterproof the foundation walls, all while the school remained in service during construction. The design involved foundation wall "jackets", underpinning, and a temporary shoring tunnel across the width of the building. The building renovation also included the creation and enlargement of many windows and skylights to increase the natural light into the space.
Falls Church High School
Location: Falls Church, VA
A complete renovation of the existing Falls Church High School. With additions of classroom and support spaces on the pre-existing building, the building is now 430,000 SF.
James Madison High School
Location: Vienna, VA
A 346,000 SF renovation and addition on an existing two-story school. The building has a 50,000 SF 3-story library and classroom addition, along with an 11,000 SF cafeteria.
Belle Haven Country Club
Alexandria, VA
Phase 1 of renovations and additions to the existing clubhouse building, including an expanded and improved patio, covered terrace, new dining options, youth activities center, gaming simulators, and upgraded locker rooms.
