Bill McLain, Principal at Ehlert Bryan, along with StudioMB Architects and Eichberg Construction explored the cost implications in today’s Mid-Atlantic market of building with engineered Mass Timber. The team presented their case study and cost analysis of an 8-story residential structure to architects, owners, developers, and builders who are interested in delivering environmentally sustainable structures. Significant changes in the 2021 International Building Code have positioned the Mid-Atlantic region to lead in the design and implementation of these structures.
