The Project
A five-story 152-unit affordable Assisted Living facility in the heart of Washington, DC. This community serves District seniors aged 60+ years with disabilities and low to moderate income.
Structural Features
The building consists of four stories of type IIIA wood construction over a cast-in-place concrete podium. The second floor is partially over an open at-grade parking area. A series of V-shaped steel columns support the front of the building and are architecturally exposed.
