The Project
The project is a new eight – story full-service business hotel with conference centers, ballrooms, an attached conservatory and two restaurants. The hotel has 174 rooms and is approximately 181,000 SF. Large, curved and cantilevered exterior glass canopies welcome visitors into a two-story open-air atrium.
Structural Features
Typical floor construction consists of 8” pre-cast plank supported by light gage stud bearing walls with reinforced CMU shear walls at select locations. Unit bearing walls are supported by large steel beams that span over open areas at level three.
