Ehlert Bryan was honored to be present at the groundbreaking ceremony for the EucKal Housing and Arts Project in Washington, DC’s Ward 1 with special guests Mayor Muriel Bowser and Councilmember Brianne Nadeau. This joint venture by Jubilee Housing and the Sitar Arts Center plans to create 50 units of affordable multi-family housing and expand the arts center to provide additional youth arts programs. About two-thirds of the units proposed at 1724 Kalorama will have two or three bedrooms, addressing a critical need for family-sized apartments in the Washington, DC area. Many of these units will also be reserved for families earning at or below 30% of the area median income.
