Ehlert Bryan is excited to be involved with Dominion Square, Tyson’s first fully affordable housing project, which is expected to provide more than 500 units targeted at households making 60% of the Area Median Income for Fairfax County, Virginia. The building will also feature a public “Community Center” integrated within the building. This 2-acre parcel of land, located within easy walking distance of the Spring Hill Metro station, is part of an innovative public-private partnership that secured funding through a variety of diverse sources, from the Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority to Amazon’s Housing Equity Fund. Hopefully this collaboration can serve as a model for future affordable housing projects.
