During the 16th annual Excellence in Structural Engineering Awards gala, Ehlert Bryan was excited to celebrate our very own Thomas A. Bouffard, PE as this year’s recipient of the Outstanding Achievement Award. Tom has been with us for 35 years and has over 40 years of structural engineering experience. He has successfully managed many of our largest and most noteworthy projects, including hundreds of senior living facilities across the U.S., K-12 schools, large recreation centers, and dozens of U.S. diplomatic sites around the world.
Tom dedicates himself to guiding younger engineers along their career paths to the benefit of themselves and the firm. His ability to lead a team and connect with each person brings out the best in everyone and results in many successful project completions. His enthusiasm and commitment to the the success of those around him is contagious and has shaped our company’s culture.
Tom has been an active SEA-MW member for over three decades, serving more than once as a board member and Chairperson. Outside of work, he is active with his local church and volunteers often. He and his wife, Paula, live in Loudoun County and have five children and four grandchildren.
